Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best recognized for her role as Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until present. She had previously gained recognition for playing the role of an American girl aged 13 Jasira Maroun who undergoes turbulent personal struggles against set against the backdrop of the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. The subsequent recognition as one of the Top 10 actors of Variety in 2007 also came as a huge honour. The year 2009 was the time she portrayed the powerful Taslima in the film Crossing Over. She was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead in the film. Apart from Lucky 7, she has been a part of Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as a variety of television guest characters.
